Dipo-Krobo Festival Program

     Visit Krobo and experience the art, craftsmanship and traditions of the local community. The Krobos are well known for their art and expertise in beads making. During this period, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the Dipo Krobo Festival, one of the most famous and important events in Ghana celebrated by the people of Manya and Yilo Krobo, in Krobo Odumase and Somanya in the Eastern Region. The ceremony and rituals performed by the Krobos are symbolic for the entry of young women into adulthood.

 Internship Programs

Internship in Schools – interns will provide seminars, lectures and training methods to students from Primary to Senior High School. Interns can engage with the local schools in teaching new methodologies, creating workshops and activities that will allow participation and exchange of knowledge between individuals from different cultures and backgrounds.

Internship in Clinics or Hospitals – interns will experience the medical environment and enter in contact with patients and the medical staff. Students will have the chance to visit and operate in various department within the Hospitals ( such as OPD,  Consulting Rooms, Counseling Units, Wards, Pharmacy, Antenatal Care Unit, Out Station Services, etc.)

Government Institutions– interns will experience working skills within Ministries.

NGO’s- interns will visit NGO's and will engage in programs and projects related to local communities, Development and Environment Sustainability, Legal Aid, Human Rights, Sustainable and Ecological Constructions, Agriculture, Economic Development, Social Marketing and Tourism.
